Voilà une petite chose assez sympathique dont j’ai fait l’acquisition il y a un petit moment mais que je n’ai pu vraiment utiliser que depuis deux semaines (déménager avec du rouge vif aux lèvres… Bof).
Here’s a little thing that I bought a while ago but could only start enjoying it two weeks ago (indeed, moving from a flat with red lipstick… Definitely not…).
Ce petit crayon est donc une sorte de gloss-baume coloré principalement destiné aux lèvres et est décliné en plusieurs couleus:

C’est après avoir vu la petite mais néanmoins douée Tanya Burr s’amuser avec que je me suis dit (phrase qui revient souvent dans ma vie quotidienne): CE CRAYON, JE LE VEUX!

Et en effet, même si c’est bien un crayon, il est tout sauf sec. L’application est très simple aussi. Ce qui m’a tout de suite séduite, c’est le côté très pratique du crayon, facile à emporter partout, facile pour retoucher, etc. De plus, comme Tanya le montre très bien, l’utilisation en blush donne un rendu très très joli.
And indeed, even if it’s a pencil, it’s everything but dry. Applying it is thus very simple. What immediatly seduced me is the practical side of the pencil: easy to take away, easy to apply again during the day, etc. Moreover, as Tanya shows it very well, the use of it as a blush gives a very nice result.

L’affaire est en effet très bien pigmentée et sa texture non-sèche permet donc de l’estomper très très facilement. Seul petit hic pour ma part, j’ai eu beau mettre du baume ou de la vaseline pour préparer mes lèvres avant d’appliquer le crayon, je trouve qu’il tient moyennement. Pour moi, rien ne vaut le Ruby Woo bien mat de chez MAC. Cependant, si vous êtes pressée et que vous voulez quelque chose d’un peu plus sophistiqué, je trouve que c’est un assez bon plan si tant est qu’on en surveille la tenue.
The pencil is higlhy well pigmented and its non-dry texture allows us to blend it very easily. The only problem that I personnally noticed is that, although I used balm or vaseline to prepare my lips, it’s definitely not a long-wear product. To me, nothing is better than the M.A.C. mat lisptick « Ruby Woo ». However, if you are in a hurry and still want something more sophisticated, I think it’s a good solution if you are ready to have a look on your lips from time to time.
Hormis le « LoveChild » qui est un rose légèrement irisé, les autres couleurs sont assez vives. J’ai d’ailleurs eu droit à un tartinage en règle de la part d’une vendeuse de Sephora qui voulait absolument me vendre le fuschia. Au secours… Vite enlevé ça en sortant de là et bien eu raison de ne JAMAIS écouter les vendeuses de chez Sephora. Ca me donnait l’horrible impression d’être allée faire une gâterie à une baleine… Je passe mon tour…
Except maybe the « LoveChild » which is a slightly sparkling pink, the other colours are very bright. A saleswoman from Sephora tried to make me buy a fuschia one putting way too much on my poor lips… I quickly left it once I was out, it gave me the horrible feeling that I had kissed (and much more…) a whale… Definitely not for me… Quite proud of never listening to Sephora saleswomen!
